Service Inbound provides AI answering, texting and lead capture for home and local service businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Account information you provide when signing up, such as business name, contact name, email address, phone number, service area and billing details.

Call and message content, including phone numbers, call recordings, transcripts, text messages, chat conversations and form submissions handled on your behalf.

Usage and device information, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and actions taken in your dashboard, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How We Use Information

To answer calls, texts, chats and forms for your business, qualify jobs, book appointments and deliver summaries to you and your systems.

To operate, secure, support and improve the service, including training and tuning our models on de-identified or aggregated data where permitted by law.

To process payments, send service notices and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Call Recording and Consent

Calls and messages may be recorded and transcribed so we can produce summaries and improve accuracy. Recording laws vary by state and country.

As the business owner, you are responsible for ensuring appropriate notice and consent for recording in the jurisdictions where you operate. We can enable a recording notice at the start of calls on request.

4. Sharing With Third Parties

We share information with service providers who help us run the platform, such as telephony carriers, speech and language model providers, cloud hosting, payment processors and analytics tools, all bound by contractual confidentiality obligations.

We share information with the CRM, scheduling and dispatch tools you connect at your direction.

We may disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public. If we are involved in a merger or acquisition, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Data Retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal and accounting obligations.

Call recordings, transcripts and message history are retained according to your plan settings. You may request deletion of specific records or shorter retention windows.

6. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, logging and least-privilege practices to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port or restrict use of your personal information, and to withdraw consent or object to certain processing.

You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link, and reply STOP to opt out of non-transactional text messages. To exercise a privacy right, contact us using the details below.

8. Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, remembering preferences and understanding site performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.

9. Children's Privacy

The service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International Transfers

We operate in the United States and may process information in other countries where we or our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the dashboard.
