The team at Service Inbound and Ad Machines has pledged an ocean jump and donation to Chucky’s Fight!
We will be taking an office field trip to the beaches of Seabrook, New Hampshire to jump in the ocean with Chucky’s Fight Founder, Chucky Rosa.
Chucky’s Fight is an organization founded to help raise awareness and funding for those struggling with opioid addiction with the goal to “knockout substance abuse”. New England has been rattled with an opioid crisis that continues to plague the region after more than a decade of a situation now formally labeled as an epidemic.
With Service Inbound and Ad Machines headquartered in Amesbury, MA, our backyard is within very close proximity to the heart of the issue. Our pledge to jump in the ocean with Chucky’s Fight is a commitment to support the cause to save and preserve the lives of our community.
Chucky Rosa survives his two oldest sons, both lost to the addiction crisis. Committed to making a difference, Chucky began a foundation to help those struggling as his sons had. A public speaker and prominent community member, Chucky dedicates a significant amount of his time to teaching youth about the dangers of drug use and the ultimate choice for a better future.
The Ocean Jump Pledge
When his sons passed away, their ashes were spread at sea. Chucky’s daily ritual ever since includes jumping into the ocean – regardless of the weather – to start his day with them. Sharing it with others has become a way to spread the message of his organization and promote people commit to being drug-free.
Chucky’s oldest surviving son Charles Rosa overcame his addiction and is a competitive UFC fighter, campaigning his cause to the elite levels of a sport that has saved his life. He uses his career as a UFC fighter to prove that overcoming addiction is possible. Most recently, Charles fought at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York and was unanimously voted Fight of the Night by the UFC management.
